Santa Barbara is a popular resort and beach destination situated on a south-facing section of coastline, the longest such section on the West Coast of the United States. Goleta is a growing city in the southern portion of Santa Barbara County. It is best known for the University of California, Santa Barbara [UCSB] located on the coastal point known as Campus Point, a popular surfing destination. The Goleta beach park is a welcome destination for locals to enjoy a weekend BBQ or host an outdoor party.

The Santa Ynez Valley is made up of several communities that include the Danish town Solvang, the western town of Santa Ynez, the cosmopolitan town of Los Olivos, the town with the best little school in Ballard and the expanding town of Buellton located right along the Highway 101 corridor. The Valley is a popular tourist destination due to its climate year round.

Los Alamos is surrounded by ranches, farms and vineyards, and it’s located at the northern tip of the Santa Ynez Valley. Los Alamos is located at the junction of US Highway 101 and State Route 135 also known as Bell Street by the locals. The town is only a few blocks long yet reflects as much Old West heritage as any small town on California’s Central Coast.

Lompoc is a coastal city in northern Santa Barbara County, California. Lompoc is often known as a military town, secured by Vandenberg Air Force Base on the coast. The city is also known as the flower seed capital of the world and at certain times of the year, beautiful flora can be see from all around the agriculturally famous town.

Santa Maria is a metro city in California's Central Coast region. It's known for its wine industry, and great Santa Maria-style barbecue, a local specialty. West of the city is the coastal area of the Guadalupe-Nipomo Dunes which stretch down the Pacific Coast.Santa Maria is a popular and convenient residential community for locals in Santa Barbara County due to it being more affordable than other locations.
